Investment varies depending on the level of support you’re looking for.
Personal styling services can range from several hundred dollars to several thousand for comprehensive wardrobe development.
At Hina Low Studio, pricing reflects over a decade of experience and our highly personalized process. Most clients work with me on a comprehensive level, with an average investment of $5,000–$7,500 USD (not including wardrobe budget), while targeted styling sessions begin at $550 USD for those looking for clarity in a specific area. I work with clients globally and offer billing in both USD and CAD, along with flexible payment plan options.

Targeted styling sessions begin at $550 USD for those looking for clarity in a specific area.
These fees do not include your wardrobe budget. I’ve supported clients across a wide range of investment levels, from a few hundred dollars to several thousand and beyond.
Together, we’ll define a budget and build a plan that aligns with your priorities and makes the most of your investment.

( the styling process )
-
Size inclusivity is central to my work!
I style people across a wide range of sizes, and I am especially experienced working with plus size bodies.
-
That is completely normal. Most people come to a stylist because they want help understanding what feels like them.
My process is designed to explore your preferences, lifestyle, inspirations, and goals so we can develop a clear style direction together.
-
Not at all! Many clients come to styling because they feel overwhelmed by clothing or unsure where to start.
Some of my clients are fashion enthusiasts (or even work in the fashion industry themselves) and some of them feel completely disconnected from the topic.
My role is to make the process clear, thoughtful, and supportive so that getting dressed becomes easier, less intimidating and more intuitive.
-
Not at all! Most people who work with stylists are not celebrities.
Styling is simply a tool to help you better understand your personal style, make intentional wardrobe choices, and feel more ease when getting dressed.
While celebrity styling is what’s most visible publicly, the day-to-day work of a stylist is typically with private clients navigating real life needs like workwear, physical changes, life transitions, or simply wanting to feel more aligned in what they wear.
The process is adapted to you. Your lifestyle, your priorities, your budget, and how hands-on or guided you want the experience to be.
-
Each client begins with a comprehensive intake designed to understand their lifestyle, style preferences, fit considerations, and long-term wardrobe goals.
From there, we build a clear wardrobe strategy that may include image development, closet editing, personal shopping, colour and shape analysis, and more.
Services will look a little different depending on your unique needs!
-
Timelines vary depending on the scope of your service and your specific needs.
Focused services can be completed quite efficiently, while comprehensive wardrobe development may unfold over several months.
Some clients choose to work with a stylist on an ongoing basis for years.
Clear timelines are outlined before work begins, as there is no single timeline that fits every client!
-
No. Our work centers size neutrality. We focus on good fit, structure, proportion, and your identity and personal preferences rather than “concealment.”
The goal is to build clothing systems that function well, reflect who you are, and feel genuinely exciting to wear!
An exception to this may include gender affirming wardrobes. Some people may want to de-emphasize areas of their body so their clothing feels more aligned with how they experience and present their gender.
When that is the goal, I am very glad to support you in whatever way feels most affirming and comfortable for you.
-
Absolutely! I am a queer person myself, and all of my work is adamantly queer friendly. I work with clients of all genders, identities, and expressions.
Style can be a powerful tool for exploring identity, gender expression, and visibility, and I am always glad to support clients in building wardrobes that feel aligned with who they are.
Some clients are looking for gender-affirming styling, others simply want clothing that fits their body and personal taste without being limited by traditional menswear or womenswear categories.
My role is to help you explore what feels authentic, comfortable, and expressive for you.
-
Yes. Our process is structured to gently guide you through a style discovery process, reduce overwhelm and eliminate guesswork.
We pre-vet brands and anticipate fit challenges before any recommendations are presented to you.
You are not sent into stores hoping something works. You are given real strategy, bespoke to your specific needs, and always designed with plus sized bodies in mind.
-
You are very welcome here.
I have extensive experience working with plus size bodies and understand the unique challenges that can come with finding clothing that fits well and feels good.
My approach focuses on helping you understand your proportions, preferences, and the size inclusive options available to you, so that your wardrobe truly works for you.
-
Not at all! Many clients already own great pieces that simply need to be styled with a fresh pair of eyes. We usually begin by understanding what you already have, identifying any gaps, and then making thoughtful additions where needed.
Some clients choose to overhaul their entire closet with me, and some don’t wish to embark on any personal shopping at all—focusing instead on creatively styling what they already own.
-
Our styling fees do not include the cost of clothing, so it is important to plan a separate budget for your wardrobe.
You are welcome to share your clothing budget with us, and if we provide shopping recommendations, we will ensure they align with that budget.
-
My approach to systems like Colour and Shape Analysis is to treat them as tools rather than rules.
They can be very helpful for understanding why certain colours, proportions, or silhouettes feel harmonious on a person, but they are never meant to restrict someone’s style or creativity.
I use these frameworks as a starting point to understand your features and how clothing interacts with your body. From there, the goal is to translate that information into a wardrobe that feels both comfortable and authentic to you.
Personal style is always about identity first. Systems can offer useful insight, but they should support your expression rather than define it.
-
My role is to help you understand and refine your style, not replace it with my own or make you dress like anyone else.
The goal is always to build a wardrobe that feels authentic to who you are.
Over the years I have supported clients with a wide range of style aesthetics, from minimalist and classic to alternative and punk-inspired, simple, maximalist, and many styles in between.
The focus is always on helping you express your identity in a way that feels natural and comfortable…to you!
-
Yes. I frequently work with clients on event dressing, including weddings, speaking engagements, media appearances, milestone celebrations and more!
The focus is always on helping you feel confident and comfortable while still expressing your personal style.
-
Online advice can be incredibly inspiring and a great starting point, but it’s often designed to be broad and widely applicable. It’s a good alternative to styling if you don’t presently have the budget to work with a personal stylist. You can find me online at @heensie, where I offer free style education.
Personal styling is a much more individualized, strategic and in-depth process.
It takes into account your aesthetic preferences, sizing needs, unique proportions, lifestyle, sensory considerations and the nuances of how you actually get dressed day to day, allowing for solutions that are highly specific, practical, and aligned with your identity.
( consulting & collaborations )
-
Yes. I regularly collaborate with brands on campaigns, launches, and educational content. I am especially interested in partnerships that value size inclusivity and meaningful representation.
-
I support brands in making their products, campaigns, and internal practices more inclusive—especially when it comes to size diversity, representation, and customer experience.
This can include consulting on product development, inclusive design principles, campaign styling or casting, internal education, and UX or content audits through an inclusive lens.
I’ve partnered with companies across tech, fashion, and media to help move inclusion from intention to action.
-
I collaborate with apparel brands, creative agencies, product teams, and larger corporations that are ready to engage more thoughtfully with inclusion—particularly in the areas of body diversity, size accessibility, and representation.
Past partners include Pinterest, Visa, Walmart, Lane Bryant, the Toronto Plus Size Fashion Show, among others.
-
Yes to both. I offer one-time speaking engagements, team training sessions, and project-based consulting as well as ongoing partnerships. I’ll work with you to shape a format and timeline that aligns with your goals.
-
I approach consulting with a mix of strategic insight and lived experience, helping brands recognize missed opportunities and develop more thoughtful, inclusive experiences.
Whether it’s rethinking fit and product design, refining marketing language, or shaping more representative casting and visuals, the goal is always long-term impact and not just a one-off DEI checkbox.
My clients often walk away with clearer direction, more confident internal teams, and stronger community alignment.
